We stopped here for a cuppa & ended up having some home made soup...it was so nice especially on a cold day.

Honest food at honest prices, together with a smile and a view to die for.

A brilliant wildlife trip on the blackwater pearl with Essex wildlife trust, brilliant skipper :-) and Essex wildlife trust guide Andrew was brilliant to so much knowledge and great photographer too. If you get the chance do the trip its worth every penny :-)

Lovely food and staff. Great value

It was ok not very organized the young lady was continually on her phone and had to be told what to do all the time even around making a cup of tea no anisative The cafe was quant rough and ready but clean tea was good decent and the food was well cooked and presented not greasy tastey no toilets not great for disabled and wheelchairs not sure I'd go again only because of the wait and staff could have been even a little friendly it had no atmosphere or caricature shame dearly cous it is I in a good posission would I recommend no not realy
