Absolutely amazing place! I'm a vegan with a wheat allergy and they cooked me amazing food. The staff were so helpful and polite too! I highly recommend this place!
Great place for a beer by the sea. Good for people watching. Food looked good though didn't get the chance to try any
The staff were nice but the food was vile. The fish pie was swimming in watery juice, no recipe, and potatoes added on top and grilled so not a pie at all . It's only saving grace was the fish was fresh... We complained and the manager dealt with it well. But took a long time to get the taste if the food out of our mouths.
Food was nice...when we eventually got it. Staff seemed unable to handle busy period. Table of almost 20 at the bar all ordering food separately when easily could have been taken at the table. This led to standing at the bar waiting to be served for over 15 minutes. Thankfully wasn't in much of a rush and enjoyed sitting in the sun in the garden. As mentioned above, food was lovely just needs a bit of organisation/ sense of urgency with staff.
We came here because the fish place opposite was jam packed. We all ordered the cod & chips but we're not expecting anything amazing, but were pleasantly surprised to find that is was really good. The place itself is a reasonably nice pub with outdoor seating, although we say inside. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
